Maaco Joins National Auto Body Council

Charlotte, NC – July 21, 2014 – Maaco, North America's Bodyshop, is joining the roster of Diamond Members of the National Auto Body Council (NABC).

In partnership with the NABC, Maaco and its more than 450 locations across North America will work to promote a positive image of the collision industry and make an impact in local communities nationwide.

"As the largest automotive paint and collision franchise, we understand the importance of giving back to the community and helping influence the perception of the industry that we serve," Jose Costa, president of Maaco.

The National Auto Body Council is a not-for-profit organization that strives to improve the image of professionals in the auto body industry through education, advocacy and charitable work. The intent of the NABC is to assure consumers they are receiving quality repairs by trusted professionals - a message that Maaco and the NABC share. "As we work towards this goal, we're developing a clear roadmap for I-CAR Gold certification, which allows us to ensure our customers are offered the latest in collision services. I-Car has been a true partner in this development" says Costa.

Maaco's membership to the NABC will give employees and team members an opportunity to expand their community outreach and make a positive influence both locally and nationally. The NABC will provide Maaco centers a way to give back to the communities that have helped them grow.
